This blog is run primarily by Jeff Jaje, Marketing & Business Development Manager for Sescoi Inc. He holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University, and has been involved in the CAM software field since 1990.
The goal of this blog is to share information across a community of CNC machining operators, programmers and professionals.
We will be up front, with full disclosure, in stating that this blog is setup and maintained by Sescoi, manufacturers of WorkNC advanced CAM software, as well as WorkPLAN job shop management and ERP software solutions. While we will try and be generic in regards to many CAM tips and best practices, there are times where we will naturally address our own products. Our goal is for this blog to educate and stimulate the CNC milling community, not to be a simple sales tool.
Since CNC programming is much more than just CAM software, we will write about milling machines, mill controllers, cutters, CAM tips, CAD tips and much more. We welcome experienced programmers, industry experts and representatives from complimentary technologies to provide input and possibly even post on this blog.
